Alexander McQueen presented today its Fall/Winter 2013-2014
menswear collection in London. We should be familiar with Alexander as the
master of sartorial craftsmanship. If
you were to take a closer look at the details, you’d find that every garment is
impeccably tailored. Owning a piece from this brand is a treasure that may be
expensive, but what you’ll be receiving is pure quality.
Sarah Burton has done an excellent job in keeping the house
codes of the brand. Pinstripes were the first introduction in the collection,
which seemed like a trompe de l’oeil, as it appeared as if the stripes were
drawn with chalk.
Gray suits contrasted with diverse hue patchwork needed no
more reminders to what the house of Alexander McQueen is famous for.
Vivid colors such as orange and red could not run away in
this collection. Velvet suits (to what I could tell), coats, and shirts were no
doubt the proper way to end the first day of men’s Fall/Winter 2013-2014 London
menswear collection.
